Earth Spirit Way was co-founded by Kent Dorsey and Girvani Leer in 2014 as a sacred circle exploring Shamanic Journeying, Shamanic Healing, Instruction and Apprenticeship, Community Ceremonies and Rituals.
Self Empowerment through a Shamanic Way of Life.
Earth Spirit Way is a blend of ancient and ancestral wisdom with modern contemporary shamanism. Walking the Spiral Path offers experiential practices of the Shaman for direct engagement with spirit. Whether your goal is personal growth, healing and self empowerment; understanding your own divinity; learning the wisdom of the shamanic world view; joyful attainment of your dreams; greater understanding your Life’s Direction; or being a healing presence in the world; those who choose to walk this path with us will experience profound transformation and a renewed sense of purpose.
Universal shamanic practices of direct engagement with Spirit will provide access to our personal wisdom and knowledge. Receiving ancient Shamanic rites will upgrade our DNA and energy body, connect us to a lineage of teachers and wisdom keepers and deepen and accelerate our Journey of transformation. Kent Dorsey
I am a shamanic practitioner, teacher, mentor and spiritual healer. I have been walking this path for 30 years. I was one of two American members of the Foundation For Shamanic Studies 2003 Expedition to Tuva. We traveled to the Russian Republic of Tuva to participate in the International Symposium on Shamanism in August 2003 sponsored by the Tuvan government, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. I worked alongside 80 Shamans from all over the world collectively performing healings for over 500 clients. This was both a gathering of practicing shamans and a scientific symposium with over 200 world scholars including anthropologists, ethnologists, ethnobotonists and psychologists.
I have trained with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies under Dr. Michael Harner, Sandra Ingerman and Alicia Legunas Gates and have completed the FSS three-year advanced program. I have studied extensively with Sandra Ingerman and am a graduate of her first Two-year teacher training program, which focuses solely on how to teach shamanism in our diverse western culture. I have continued advanced studies with Betsy Bergstrom, Lama Tsering Wangdu Rinpoche, Q’ero elders and the Iranian Master Healer, Behrooz Danadoost. I am a founding member of The Society of Shamanic Practitioners, the Center For Shamanic Healing, Earth Spirit Way and the Vision Drum & Journey Circles. I have been an Ordained Minister with The Circle of the Sacred Earth, a church of animism fostering shamanic principles and practices.
